Login to your WordPress dashboard and hover on appearance. And click on customize option. When you will click on customize, you will be redirected to customization.
Now, you will have a Header option along with some other options on your screen. You just click on the Header and the Site Identity option will appear.
Now click on the Site Identity option. And after it, you will have the option to Select Logo.
I assume that you already have created the image of a logo. And you have uploaded it to your media library.
To add a logo, you need to click on Select logo. After it, you will have the option of Upload Files and Media Library.
Click on the media library and select the logo that you already uploaded to the media library. After selecting the logo click on Publish. In this way, you can add a logo to WordPress website.
However, adding a logo to the WordPress site may also depend on your theme. Mostly customization process is almost the same for most of the themes.
However, you may have a separate theme panel from your theme provider. And you may have the option to add a logo to WordPress from the theme panel also.
So, in that case, you can add a logo through the customize option and from your theme panel as well.
