To start the process to change your Aadhaar address, first of all, open a UIDAI official website on your device and go to My Aadhaar. When you hover or click on My Aadhar, you will have various options including Update Demographics Data & Check Status.

Simply, you need to click on Update Demographics Data & Check Status, you will be redirected to the login page.

When you will click on Login, the options to Enter Aadhaar, and Enter Captcha, will appear. Now you enter your Aadhaar number for which you want to update the address.

Enter the captcha code and click on Send OTP. In a few seconds, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Normally, traffic on this site is high so it might take a few seconds to receive OTP. After entering OTP, just click on Login and you will be logged into the Aadhaar system to change the address.

After getting logged in, you will have several options including Online Update Service. You just click on the option of Online Update Service and you will be redirected to the following window (as you can see below image).

Here you will have multiple demographic data fields to update. These fields are Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Address. To change your Aadhaar address, you just tick the option of Address.

Simply fill in your complete address including your Address Pincode. Ensure that the address you are filling in is the same as the supporting address proof that you will upload. Because, if there is a mismatch, your request to update your Aadhaar address might get rejected.

After entering the required complete details, you need to upload a valid supporting document. Before you start the process to change your Aadhar Address online, you should keep a scanned copy of your original valid supporting document.

After uploading the document, click on the Next button. Now you will have a preview page where it will show the current address details. And if you see anything wrong or incorrect information, you can simply click on the Edit button to correct the same.

If everything is correct, you need to select the terms and conditions. After selecting the terms and conditions, click on Next. Now a payment window will appear and you need to process the payment. You will be charged Rs.50 to process the request online.

On this page, you need to accept the declaration and click on Make Payment. After doing the payment successfully, Download Acknowledgement will appear. By clicking on it, you can download your Acknowledgement. Your Aadhaar number, Update Request Number, and some other details will be on this slip. So keep it safe.
